Alpha Xi Delta

Beta Psi at Carroll University

New Member Program

Our five-to-eight-week Bonds of Sisterhood program helps new members learn about Fraternity and chapter life and the responsibilities of membership. These responsibilities include upholding Alpha Xi Delta ideals and standards, meeting financial obligations, pursuing personal and academic excellence and participating in chapter activities.

A Letter from our New Member Orientation Chair:

The beginning of your journey through Alpha Xi Delta as a new member is a very exciting time. In order to make new members feel as comfortable as possible, we help teach them about our sisterhood and what our sorority stands for.  During their first semester in the chapter, new members get to learn the symbols and history of the sorority that make us unique. They also get to learn what we stand for and why we pride ourselves in those meanings. We also help create a deeper meaning about our philanthropy, Autism Speaks. Every year we host fundraisers and spread awareness about Autism.  We take this time to allow the new member class to bond with each other and grow as a pledge class. We also have our initiated members of the sorority get to know the new members so that we may create a deeper bond of sisterhood! Bonding as a sisterhood is very important to us and is one of our core values as a sisterhood.  We work each and every day to make sisters feel as comfortable as possible. Joining the sorority is a very exciting journey and we are honored to be the sisters who get to be on that path with you!
